eUnifyCentral Announces Product Launch
SAN FRANCISCO [May 1, 2002] - eUnifyCentral announced the release of its Community Intranet software.
The Community Intranet product allows residents of common interest developments to more effectively communicate, collaborate and participate by leveraging the power of the internet. For most communities, the Community Intranet represents a substantial cost savings along with the potential to generate revenues.
"Our product delivers to the residential customer advanced collaborative functionality that has been previously only available to large Fortune 1000 companies." Said Steve Serra, eUnifyCentral's founder and President. "Communities realize that effective communication requires more than an occasional flyer or even an email list. They're looking for something more to ensure their success."
Unlike a static Web site, the Community Intranet enables residents to post information themselves directly to the intranet. This eliminates the time-consuming step of routing changes or additions through a webmaster or a central administrator. The self-publishing aspects of the Community Intranet enable all of a community's groups to use the intranet as a communication and management tool.
"Our product is designed specifically to meet the needs of property management companies, apartment managers, homebuilders and developers, and associations. The ability to manage multiple communities enable customers with multiple communities to quickly and efficiently disseminate information," said Lisa Griesmer, eUnifyCentral's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
eUnifyCentral's Community Intranet is an internet-based password-protected intranet application built on the latest database and server technologies. Current functionality supports announcements, members, contacts, groups, customized home page, classified, community preferences, discussions, calendar, events and links.
